Socrates tells us that “education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel”. In a similar vein, C.S. Lewis reminds us that the task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.” Both of these quotes touch on the fact that true education requires both wonder and curiosity.
